Ingredients and Equipment Needed
1 acorn squash, cut in half
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- Foil-covered baking sheet
Instructions
2. Scoop out the seeds from inside of the squash. You can either dispose of them or keep them for later to season and toast them for a tasty snack.
5. Score both halves by using a sharp knife and cutting lines both vertically and horizontally. Be sure no to cut too deep or pierce the skin.
6. Place squash on a baking sheet in the center of oven. Bake for one hour.
