The most common way of asking for help in Japanese is the simple sentence Will you help me? In Japanese it is tasukete kudasasimasen ka (which is pronounced (tah-sue-keh-the coo-dah-sah-shee-ma-sen-ka).

If you just simply need some help for a reason other than an emergency you would want to say Help me, please. This sentence in Japanese is chotto tasukete kudasai or you could say it in a shorter form which is just as polite. This would be please help that translates to tasukete kudasai in Japanese.
