Are You Qualified?
- In order to qualify for federal student aid, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Be registered with Selective Service if you are a male between 18 and 25 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be accepted for enrollment or already enrolled in a school that participates in federal student aid programs

Applying for FAFSA
- Before you fill out and submit the FAFSA basic application form, you will need to first gather the necessary documents and information you will need to apply, including:
- Social Security Number
- Driver's license
- Tax returns
- Bank statements

- Information on your dependency status
- Once you have the necessary documents, you will need to:
- Print and complete a FAFSA web worksheet.
- Decide how you will sign your application.
