Introduction to Eyeliner
There are three main types of eyeliner available: pencil, liquid and gel. There are two major types of pencil liners. Eye kohl can be applied to your water line, but other types of pencil liners wont stick. Since kohl eyeliner is water resistant, it is great for creating a smokey eye. In the video above, Katie uses a retractable kohl pencil eyeliner.
Step 1: Apply Eyeliner
Place eyeliner in the upper lash line and apply, working from the inside out. 
Apply liner on top using short, feathery strokes. Use your angle brush to smooth out the liner. You don't want the liner to be the same width all across the eye. Repeat for the other eye.
