Learning how to aim a gun is easy. Firing a gun is as simple as loading, aiming, and pulling the trigger. However since you can kill with a gun, accidentally or on purpose, always remember "Safety First".

Aiming a gun carries a lot of responsibility, so never aim a gun at anything you do not intend to shoot. The gun can fire accidentally and great damage or harm can be done. Second, make sure the area is clear where you are going to aim. Make sure any people, pets, etc. are behind you and can't run in front of you. Third, you are ready to aim. There are three steps in aiming.

Select the object you will aim at. Make sure the area is clear between you and the target. Position your self at an appropriate distance from the object.

The front site is on the top end of the barrel. Point this at the target.

The rear site is also on top and at the back of the barrel. It has a notch cut or a vee cut in the center of it. Looking through the notch, line up the front site between the notch and the target. When all three are in a single row, they are lined up. You are aimed in at the target.
