Add Mahalo To Your Search Bar
- Step 1: Go to the Mahalo Homepage, or any Mahalo page, and click on the logo in the search bar:
- Step 2: Click on "Mahalo (English)" in the drop down
- Step 3:Mahalo will now be the default search engine in the search bar

Some people have experienced the following error when trying to add Mahalo to their search bar: "Firefox could not download the search plugin from: www.mahalo.com/opensearch_desc.xml"
Mahalo Search Bar Installation ErrorThis error occasionally occurs when Firefox caches an out of date version of the Mahalo Search plugin.
To fix this error, add the Mahalo Search bar from a different page on Mahalo, ideally a page that you haven't viewed before. You can add the Mahalo search bar from any Mahalo page.
