In this video, Mahalo technology expert Sean Hewitt demonstrates how to add and edit contacts on the home screen of your Android phone.
Adjusting Contacts on the Home Screen
You can place contacts' information directly on your home screen to make it easier to access them. The information displayed can also be adjusted depending on what you use most often.
1. To add a contact, first scroll to the screen of your phone that you want to use.
2. Tap and hold on the home screen.
3. When the options menu appears, tap Motorola widgets --> Contact quick tasks. Then select the person you want to add.
4. You will be given the option of choosing what information to display on the homescreen. After you choose, tap Done.
5. The contact will appear on the home screen. You can move them by tapping and dragging their icon.
Editing Contact Information
1. To edit which contact information is displayed directly on the home screen, tap and hold the contact icon to get the editing box. 2. Drag the corners of the box to include or exclude the information that will appear on the screen. This will also make the contact's icon larger or smaller.
3. The information that you selected will appear next to the contact's name on the home screen. To access excluded information, click on the contact's name and choose from the provided menu of contact methods. References
