Leon logs into Paypal and steps through exactly where to find the Buy Button configuration screen.
He then takes us through each option that requires any input and makes some valid suggestions on what should be changed and what should be left "as is."

Configuring the Buy Now Button
On the first tab (Step 1), most of the information required is optional, and aside from Product Name and Price, the rest can be left as is. The only other thing to choose is the button style and this is a matter of preference. The second tab (Step 2) may be bypassed completely, but take a look just to familiarize yourself with it.
The third tab (Step 3) has only one field to complete and that is the URL of where you want your customer to be sent once payment has been completed. Just be careful here, it is the second grey box at the bottom of the screen, NOT the first one.
Go ahead now and click "Create Button" and you will be taken to the code screen.

How to Place the Code on Your Site
The code you will need will appear in a box below the title "Encrypted HTML code for Websites"To copy this code you should click on the select all button, click the right mouse button and select copy, or use hold down the CTRL key and hit the C key on your keyboard at the same time. This copies the entire block of code to the clipboard.
Now go to your HTML editor and place this code in the source code of your website, at the point at which you want your Paypal button to appear. Use your editors formatting options to center the button or otherwise fine-tune its positioning.
You should now test your button by viewing your page in a web browser, clicking the buy button and checking that is does indeed go through to your Paypal address for payment.
