The cast of the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother includes close friends Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel), Robin Scherbatsky (Cobie Smulders), Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris) and Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan) who are all involved in the flashback of Ted Mosby's (Josh Radnor) life. In 2030, the viewer finds Mosby (voice of Bob Saget) recounting to his son (David Henrie) and daughter (Lyndsy Fonseca), the details of how he met their mother.
