House Peters Jr. played the original "Mr. Clean" in the commercials for the household cleaners. Peters appeared in the memorable commercials throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Although Peters was never a leading man, he had several roles in television series including Flash Gordon, The Roy Rogers Show , Lassie and Perry Mason.
