House Of Dereon is a fashion line announced to the media in September 2004 and designed by singer Beyonce Knowles and her mother Tina Knowles. The label is a full apparel line including jeans and footwear.

House Of Dereon embodies flash with sensibility with elaborately, embroidered denim jackets and metallic linen shorts. Beyonce wants her lines to put a unique spin on casual without being stuffy.

History

Beyonce started her singing career with the group Destiny's Child. When the group first started money was tight and didn't have access to high end designer costumes. Tina Knowles, Beyonces mother started sewing outfits for all members of the group, making for a cohesive, one-of-a-kind fashion statement. Soon the buzz was out within the music industry and requests started pouring in for custom hand made originals. The success of their clothing along with their talent helped launch Destiny's Child into stardom.
