  After the children move into their new foster home, they encounter a strict "no pets" policy. They search for somewhere to place their beloved pet, Friday. They find an abandoned hotel nearby and transform it into a place for Friday and other local strays to stay. Soon the police and other community members have to decide what to do with the new renovation.
