Buying Guide
When purchasing a hot plate, consider the amount of space you have on your counter top. Many hot plates come in compact sizes while others can be quite large.
Look for easily removable knobs and grills for easier cleaning. Enamel and non stick surfaces are easier to clean than steel and ceramic.
Watch out for safety features such as rubber feet, so the hot plate is less likely to slip off the counter. Knobs that need to be pushed down to turn are safer because they are less likely to be accidentally turned and are harder to switch for children.
