Hot Chip is an Electro Pop group formed in London in 2000. Their style of music blends traditional pop sounds and musical structure with an array or electronic techniques, including synth melodies and the occasional heavy bass-line. The band also features contrasting high and low vocals from the two singers, Alexis Taylor and Joe Goddard. They are well-recognized in the music scene for reworking their past material during live shows, and have won awards from major music publications for their studio albums.
