Horton Hears a Who! is the 2008 computer animated film adaptation (there was also an animated film in 1970) of Dr. Seuss's book with the same name. The movie was directed by Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martino, and starred Jim Carrey, Steve Carell, Will Arnett, Seth Rogen and Carol Burnett.
Horton Hears a Who! is about an elephant named Horton (played by Jim Carrey) who lives in the Jungle of Nool. One day, Horton discovers a tiny community called Whoville living on a speck of dust. Whoville is run by Mayor Ned McDodd (played by Steve Carell). Horton and Ned become friends, and Horton agrees to take the speck up a Mount Nool, which is the most secure place for Whoville to be situated. Along the way, Horton encounters many obstacles, many of which are set up by Sour Kangaroo (played by Carol Burnett) and a vulture named Vlad Vladikoff (played by Will Arnett).
