Professor Wagstaff (Groucho Marx) is the president of Huxley College. His son Frank (Zeppo Marx) convinces him to recruit two good football players for the Huxley team, to guarantee a victory against rival Darwin College. Darwin has the same idea and gets the actual players, while Wagstaff winds up with Pinky the dog catcher (Harpo Marx) and Baravelli (Chico Marx), a bootlegger.
