Early Life

On April 2, 2003, Ramirez made his MLB debut with the Atlanta Braves. In his first season, Ramirez appeared in 29 games and finished the season with a 4.00 earned run average and 12 wins. In 2006, Ramirez was traded to the Seattle Mariners for Rafael Soriano. In 2008, he signed with the Kansas City Royals.
