Hope for Haiti is a telethon airing Friday, January 22, 2010, without commercial interruption on YouTube, numerous channels and cable stations. In 2005, Clooney, who is helping to organize the telethon, was also behind the Tsunami Aid telethon, which raised money for the victims of the tsunami in Sri Lanka. The Hope for Haiti telethon is being produced by Joel Gallen. On January 15, 2010, MTV Networks announced that 11 stations and cable channels would air Hope for Haiti on January 22, 2010. The line-up of musical performers includes Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Sting, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder and Jennifer Hudson.
