Hooters are the trade name of two privately held American restaurant chains, Hooters of America, Incorporated, based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Hooters, Incorporated, based in Clearwater, Florida.
The restaurant's decor is a casual beach-theme featuring jukebox music, sports on TV and food that includes seafood, sandwiches, salads and spicy chicken wings.
Hooters are best known for its Hooters Girls and female sex appeal is accepted in the restaurants. They believe the Hooters Girl is as accepted socially as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader or Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

History
The doors first opened at Hooters on October 4, 1983 in Clearwater, Florida. The next year Robert H. Brooks and a team of investors purchased expansion and franchise rights to the chain. In 2002 Brooks purchased majority control and became chairman splitting the chain in two. The two sections became Hooters of America, Incorporated, based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Hooters, Incorporated, based in Clearwater, Florida.

No, they are not Buffalo; they are chicken wings! They come in mild, medium, hot, 3 mild island, 911, spicy garlic, and Parmesan garlic samurai. They are served naked (no breading), breaded, or boneless. They also carry hamburgers, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, and appetizers.
The Women of Hooters
Hooters quickly became known for the flirtatious and sexy wait staff. They are told to look like an all American cheerleader, surfer, or the girl next door. Their uniform is simple, very small orange shorts with white tank tops with the Hooters logo that are cut very low. On NFL game nights, they wear black shorts. Controversy has been abounding with the Hooters girls, some saying that they promote objectification of women.

In this video a girl is being interviewed for a job. The lady asked her what kind of job experience she has, and she tells her none she is still in college. She wants to know what kind of job she is looking for and the girl tells her she want a job where she can work with her friend and make really good money, do a little traveling and be in magazines and star in commercials.
