  • The Honda Center is an indoor sports and entertainment facility located in Anaheim, California. The arena opened in June of 1993 and is currently the home of the Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks. Formerly known as the Arrowhead Pond, the Honda Center hosts a variety of sporting events, including first and second round regional games in the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Honda Center is also host to a number of Los Angeles Clippers games during the basketball season.

    The Honda Center, formally known as the Arrowhead Pond, because is home to the Anaheim Ducks, was constructed at a cost of $123 million. The stadium is located near Angel Stadium in downtown Anaheim, California. The arena opened on June 19, 1993. The name changed when the Honda Motor Co. purchased the naming rights for $60 million over 15 years.
