What's the Twilight Hack?
Created by Team Twiizers, the team first credited with hacking the Wii, the Twilight Hack allows users to run homebrew on unmodded Wii consoles. A hacked save game of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is used to launch applications stored externally on an SD card. Different versions of the save game are available, free to use, and correspond with the region of the game console. -
What's Homebrew?
Since game consoles are basically computers, it's possible to create and run programs on them other than those intended by the original developer. Homebrew is basically an umbrella term used to define any programs, games or other utilities created or altered by consumers to run on different gaming consoles. There are homebrew communities for a variety of platforms, including the Nintendo DS, Sony PSP and Xbox 360. Homebrew applications include original games, media players, operating systems like Linux and console emulators.WiiBrew: Homebrew applications -
