Home for the Holidays

  • Home for the Holidays is a comedic drama about a single mom, Claudia Larson, who spends Thanksgiving with her dysfunctional, yet loving family. Directed by Jodie Foster the script is based on the known short story by Chris Radant.
  • The Short Story

    Chris Radant wrote a short story that was published in the Boston Phoenix newspaper about being a single mother and artist living in Boston during the holidays. She then took a break from writing and went on a touring job with the Rolling Stones. Upon her return she received a phone call from screenwriter W.D. Richter who wanted to option the story. Radant immediately said yes.
