Holly Madison was the girlfriend of Playboy Magazine founder Hugh Hefner, and one of the stars of the reality series The Girls Next Door. In August 2001, after more than a year of visiting the mansion, Madison moved into the mansion and became one of Hefner's official girlfriends. She left the mansion in 2009, and joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars as a replacement for Jewel. Jewel had to withdraw due to a knee injury.

On May 14, 2009, People magazine reported Madison would be replacing Kelly Monaco in a sexy Las Vegas show. Starting in June Madison will take Monaco's place in the topless sexy burlesque show PEEPSHOW. Madison admits she has always "wanted to be in a really classy, sexy burlesque show." DWTS Injury
Madison reportedly injured herself sometime during the week of March 16, 2009 while she was preparing to dance the samba on Dancing with the Stars. She complained of having a bruised rib but was able to participate in the dance-off against Denise Richards to make it through to the next round of the competition. While rehearsing for the tango on March 26, 2009, Madison's pain increased significantly but according to Us Magazine, a broken rib was ruled out.
