  • Holiday Inn is a 1942 film starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, featuring the music of Irving Berlin, in which the two portray former performing partners competing for the love of a dancer and singer played by Marjorie Reynolds. Beginning in the 1980's, some broadcasts of the movie have eliminated the "Abraham" number (celebrating Lincoln's Birthday) due to its use of blackface, stereotypical mannerisms and use of dialect.
