Hitler cats is a website officially called "Cats that Look Like Hitler." The site features hundreds of photos of cats that resemble former German Nazi Party leader Adolf Hitler. Many of the cats that resemble Hitler that are featured on the website are black and white - some are known as "Tuxedo cats," because they appear to be wearing tuxedos. Calico cats are also included on the site. The Cats that Look Like Hitler website was the creation of a Dutch man, Koos Plegt. Plegt says he got the idea for the site when he spotted a cat that he thought bore a striking resemblance to Adolf Hitler. After discussions with friends and a little research of his own, Plegt decided to ask his buddies to post pictures of Hitler cats online. Plegt's friend Paul Neve got on board and helped to design the website. As the website's popularity took off, more photos of cats resembling Hitler were sent in and posted. These cats became known as "Kitlers."
