The History of LOLCats is a spoof video outlining the history of LOLCats presented in the style of Ken Burns' The War. The video was produced by G4 TV for the Attack of the Show television show and released online as an Attack of the Show podcast. The video tells us that LOLCats did not begin on the internet. Instead, its history stems all the way back to Ancient Egypt with the Bast Tablet, where text beneath the main picture translates to, "I see what you did there."YouTube: History of LOLCats (Time: 2:25). Happy Cat is the pioneer of modern day LOLCats. However, he was gunned down outside a motel in Memphis, Tennessee. The documentary is presented by Ben Burrns, a further parody of Ken Burns.
