Hipsip is a service for cell phones which combines Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Skype calling. Users may access the service with any mobile phone, SIP enabled or not. It makes voice-over-internet (VOIP) calls possible from any cell phone web browser. Users also have the ability to download the Hipsip Bridge application on their home computers, allowing them to use the service. Hipsip gives users the ability to access the application from their cell phone and call any SIP or Skype user for the cost of a normal local phone call.
