  Born and raised in Virginia, Halarie Burton got her first big break as a host on the MTV's Total Request Live. She was then casted in a small part on the, then, hit show, Dawson's Creek. Soon after her spot on Dawson's Creek Burton landed a role of One Tree Hill. Most recently she's been casted to play apart in the 2008 film, The Secret Life of Bees
