High Tech Computer Corporation was founded in 1997 as a contract electronics manufacturer, and then started selling under its own name brand. The company name has been changed to HTC since then.
It operates engineers an information appliances and a wireless mobile devices. It has a manufacturing partnership with Microsoft to delivering its Windows mobile operating devices. HTC is the world's largest manufacturer of smart phones. One if HTC premier products is the HTC Touch, which competes with the the Apple iPhone and the Palm Treo.
