Sound
High Places play layered music utilizing some unconventional instruments, experimental production techniques and heavy syncopation. Pearson's lyrics are looped and repeated, giving the music an almost hypnotic effect. They have been compared to bands like Beat Happening, Young Marble Giants, Mirah, Atlas Sound and Animal Collective. -
