The Beatles' song "Hey Jude"
The Beatles's song "Hey Jude" was recorded as a single in August 1968 and was never included on a studio album. The song was based on lyrics that Paul McCartney wrote for John Lennon's son Julian Lennon when his parents were divorcing. The song originally used the phrase "Hey Jules", in reference to Julian, but McCartney changed the lyrics to "Hey Jude" for the recorded version, because it was easier to sing.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hey_Jude
