  • Plot Synopsis

    The film's various stories center around the confused Gigi (played by Goodwin), who constantly mistakes the signals she gets from men, and eventually seeks advice from worldly bartender Alex (played by Long). Ben Affleck and Jennifer Aniston play a long-term couple who differ in their views of marriage. Finally, Scarlett Johansson appears as a seductress who comes between a married couple, played by Jennifer Connelly and Bradley Cooper.

    The phrase "He's Just Not That Into You" was coined on an episode of Sex and the City, written by comedian Greg Behrendt. After Sex, Behrendt went on to host his own talk show, The Greg Behrendt Show, as well as authoring the books He's Just Not That Into You and It's Called a Breakup Because It's Broken, both with fellow Sex alum Liz Tucillo.
