Herzog & de Meuron Architekten (HdeM) is an architectural firm based in Switzerland that was founded by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron in 1978. The company's projects often feature non-conventional designs and materials. HdeM was the lead designer behind the Beijing National Stadium, built in preparation for the 2008 Olympics.
