The toy maufacturer Mezco has previewed its line of dolls based on characters from NBC's show Heroes. The action figures were featured as the cover article of the February 2008 issue of Toy Fare magazine. The unveiling was described in Cool Toy Review as "a major geek moment." The dolls themselves are due in stores in June 2008.

Details
The initial release of the Heroes toy line features six action figures portraying five characters. They include two separate figures of the superhuman male nurse Peter Petrelli (one flying, the other standing), and one each of the self-regenerating cheerleader Claire Bennet, the space-bending programmer Hiro Nakamura, the geneticist Mohinder Suresh, and Sylar, the villainous killer of superhumans. Other characters are expected for release by the end of 2008.
