• Plot

  Herbie Fully Loaded is the story of Herbie, a Volkswagen Beetle, who at one time was a famous race car. When he began to lose races, he was sent to a wrecking yard. When Maggie Peyton (Lindsay Lohan) graduates from college, her family wants to get her a car, but does not have the money to buy something new, so they take her to the wrecking yard to pick something out. Maggie does not pay attention to Herbie, regardless of what he does and picks a Nissan 240SX, which Herbie wrecks by dropping a crane on. She reluctantly decides to take Herbie. When taking Herbie for a test drive, Herbie takes her on a wild ride, racing in and out of traffic. Maggie is confused as to what is going on, but misses the days when she used to race. She begins entering Herbie into races, each time winning. He eventually wins a NASCAR race, at which time he is rewarded by a date with a newer yellow Volkswagen Beetle.
