Henry Hager

He is completing a masters in business at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Hagar began dating Bush in 2004. He reportedly asked President Bush for permission to marry Jenna Bush in advance of proposing to her on Cadillac Mountain, in Maine.

In a 2009 book, In the President's Secret Service by Ronald Kessler - Kessler reveals that Jenna Bush and Hagar caused major problems for the Secret Service. Hager's father is John H. Hager, Virginia's former director of Homeland Security and lieutenant governor. Henry Hager got his start in politics as an intern for Karl Rove before working on the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2004.

Hager and Jenna Bush made their first public appearance together at a White House dinner in November, 2005. The couple was engaged in 2007 and wed on May 10, 2008 in Crawford, Texas.
