Henry Fonda was an actor of stage, film and television. He was voted the 6th greatest male actor of all time. He was the father of Jane Fonda and Peter Fonda, and the grandfather of Bridget Fonda. He is remembered for a natural, unaffected approach to acting—the mechanics of which, according to Jane, we was unable to articulate. One of the most celebrated aspects of his career has been his work with director John Ford, including the historical and literary epics Young Mr. Lincoln and The Grapes of Wrath.
