In Hell's Kitchen S04E03, tension mounts between Corey and Christina based on the previous week's elimination nominations, and the men begin to gang up on Craig based on his slow cooking and lack of ability. Though Gordon Ramsay expected a complete dinner service, it turned out to be the worst performance yet, with Ramsay shutting down the kitchen before most of the entrees had been served. Punishment: The morning after Sharon is sent packing, the chefs are woken up early and forced to chase chickens around their dormitory. Challenge: In order to prepare themselves for a new chicken special, the challenge is to cut a whole chicken into eight pieces that meet Ramsay's specifications. The men lose based on Craig's poor performance, and they are forced to pick peppers in a field while the women go with Ramsay to the Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. Dinner Service: The dinner service is a complete debacle. Vanessa sends raw meat up to the pass and Rosann's food continually catches on fire. Ben alternates between scorched and raw salmon and Jason completely ruins his desserts. Ramsay declares that neither team is a winner. Vanessa from the red team and Jason from the blue team are up for elimination. Ramsay sends Jason home.

Hell's Kitchen 4 Week 3 Summary
- As the episode begins, the chefs leave the elimination area and return to the residence. Jen and Rosann hug and Jen immediately starts talking trash on Corey. Jen criticizes the strategy that Corey took and calls her a "dumbass blonde."
- Ben and a few other contestants respect the way Corey handled the elimination. Rosann says she shouldn't feel bad for trying to win. Christina starts crying and accuses Corey of trying to throw her under the bus. Ben thinks Corey made that play too early in the game.
- The next morning, roosters and hens are running wild in the apartment. Ramsay comes on the loud speaker and tells them to grab a chicken and go downstairs. They run around frantically trying to grab the chickens. Chef Ramsay asks them to get "up close and personal" with their chickens. Ramsay tells them they must respect the product. He is about to cut the chicken's head off but slams down the knife right next to it, teasing them.
- Back in the kitchen, there are several adead chickens. He shows them how to properly cut it into eight pieces. The chefs have five minutes to cut the chickens into eight pieces that meet Ramsay's specifications. Craig is the slowest one while some of the men are already finished.
- Ramsay checks the women's chickens first. Jen's is looking good except for her last two drumsticks, which don't look good. She gets six pieces. Shayna's chicken gets the women six pieces as well. Vanessa, Rosann, Christina, and Corey get eight out of eight.
- Jason once again doubts the women and says that men are better at slicing up meat. Chef Ramsay checks Jason's first and asks if he "f***ed the chicken". He is clearly disappointed.
- The women ended up with 44 out of 48 pieces. Jason gets 6 out of 8 for the men. Petrozza and Ben both get eight out of eight. Ramsay is less pleased with Craig's performance. He gets only two out of eight, meaning the men have lost. Ramsay and the men are clearly the most upset with Craig. The men's punishment is to pick peppers in the hot sun in work clothes all day. The women get to visit a famous restaurant on the Sunset Strip for their reward.
- Ben says that he will start throwing peppers at Craig as soon as they get onto the field. Matt throws his clothes around in front of Craig, visibly upset.
- The men get outside and have to climb into a rundown bus, while the ladies ride in style on a glamorous bus. They arrive at the Saddle Ranch and see Aaron Song from Season 3. Aaron was previously known for crying uncontrollably on Season 3 of Hell's Kitchen. The women ride the mechanical bulls at the Saddle Ranch.
- Out in the fields, Jason says he does not to manual labor. It is 87 degrees outside, and the men start throwing peppers at Craig and laughing.
- While eating at the Saddle Ranch, the women decide to pick off the men one by one.
- After returning to Hell's Kitchen, the women are in the hot tub and decide to flirt and torment the men. Corey thinks the men might be attracted to her body and she begins to taunt them. Jason takes off his shirt and jumps in the hot tub. Christina helps him take off some of his clothes.
- Once Jason is in the hot tub, they feed him chicken and beer and coax him into telling them information about the men's team. Jason tells the women that Matt is a crybaby and that everyone is angry at Craig. Ben is upset that Jason would rat out his team.
- The next morning, Ben confronts Jason and says that he wants to win that night. He tells Jason to work "like a Comanche."
- At prep for the dinner service, Corey and Christina try to smooth over their differences, even though in a private interview Christina says she wants to get rid of Corey.
- Ramsay says he wants a complete service. The special entree that night is chicken and scallops with creme fraiche. Ramsay tells Jason that he's on desserts and not to eat any. He asks Jason what the desserts are, and when he doesn't know all of them, Ramsay casts him out until he has the menu memorized. Hell's Kitchen opens.
- Dinner service begins and Jean-Phillipe brings the first orders to the women. Christina is in charge of hot appetizers and feels comfortable in her risotto. Craig takes care of appetizers for the men. Craig is reluctant to answer the men when they ask him questions.
- The first appetizers from the women come to the pass. Ramsay harshly criticizes Rosann for messing up her caesar salad. He calls them "bitches from hell."
- Ramsay complements Petrozza, which makes him feel good. Craig forgets to cook bacon for one of his dishes and Ben calls him an idiot in a private interview. The timing is off on the men's appetizers and Ramsay sends half of the tables appetizers out, something he hates doing. On the women's team, four appetizers have been sent out.
- Louross goes to find Jason and bring him back to the kitchen. Jason says it's hard for him to remember when Chef Ramsay is screaming at him. Ramsay asks Jason what the desserts are and he has trouble reciting them. Jason says he's hit his breaking point. He says "I can't do it. I really can't." Ramsay calls the men over and Jason says he wants to go home.
- Ramsay keeps asking him for the dessert and he can barely spit the words out. Eventually, he gets them all and Ramsay tells him to jump back on the station. Craig brings his bacon and appetizers and then Ramsay tells him to "f*** off."
- In the red kitchen (women), Ramsay is not satisfied with the appetizers. He picks up slabs of meat and slams them down on the counter, screaming that they're raw. Ramsay wants all the women on the meat section. Vanessa starts crying and she tries to contain herself.
- Ramsay sends Bobby out to start preparing the special chicken at the tables. He needs the kitchen to deliver the other entrees for the table at the same time. Matt and Louross have trouble communicating and the vegetables are late. The male sous chef screams at Ben for turning in slightly burnt salmon. Bobby returns to the kitchen to ask what the delay is. He begins to serve some of the special chicken in smaller pieces to the patrons hile they wait.
- A fire starts in a pan in the women's kitchen. Ramsay yells at Rosann to stand back and he throws the fiery pan in the sink. Rosann ruined several pieces of meat while Ramsay screams at her. He says "It's scorched! Cooking, my a**!"
- Jason starts the souffles and he says they are sticking to the pan. Ramsay asks him what he's trying to do about it. Jason answers that he is going to get sugar and butter and rub it around the rim. Ramsay goes just into the women's kitchen and begins to slam his head down on the counter.
- Ben delivers a new salmon and Ramsay yells at him for delivering raw salmon. He curses at the men's kitchen and kicks several trash cans.
- After three hours of dinner service, Ramsey is fed up. He tells the chefs that they've gone backwards and calls them pathetic. He shuts the kitchen down and says there is no winning team. He tells Christina to nominate one person from the women's team and Petrozza to choose one person from the men. Then he tells them to get out.
- Bobby goes back into the kitchen and waves goodbye to his patrons. Ramsay yells at Bobby for waving and screams at him to "Get out!"
- Vanessa is crying on the patio and the other women try to console her. Christina talks to Petrozza about who she should nominate. She wants to choose Corey, but worries that she didn't mess up enough. Petrozza debates between sending up Craig and Jason. Though he was about to leave earlier, Jason now says he wants to stay. The other men tell Christina she should get revenge on Corey and nominate her.
- Ramsay asks Petrozza who his nominee is. He chooses Jason because he does not have good cooking or communication skills. Christina nominates Vanessa. Vanessa was on the meat station, which literally went down in flames.
- Jason said he should stay in Hell's Kitchen because he has yet to totally prove himself. He says he will get over his anxiety. Ramsay says he moved like a tortoise giving birth.
- Vanessa says she has no excuses and that she loves to cook. Ramsay says talking to her is like talking to a "refrigeration unit."
- After listening to both contestants, Ramsay sends Jason home. He tells Vanessa she has one more chance.
- Jason says he's not going to cry about it, but he is going to get drunk.
