Each December, one outstanding college football player is honored by being selected to receive the Heisman Trophy. A few days before the Heisman Dinner in New York City, the finalists are announced.
On December 10, 2008, three quarterbacks were selected as Heisman finalists, Tim Tebow from the Florida Gators, Sam Bradford from the Oklahoma Sooners and Colt McCoy from the Texas Longhorns. The trophy will be awarded on December 13, 2008.ESPN.com: Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow Among Heisman Finalists
