History
Heinekin pilsner, the primary product of the Heineken company, is made of purified water, malted barley, hops and yeast and is force carbonated. It has been made by Heineken International since 1864, when it was founded by 22-year-old Gerard Adriaan Heineken. Heineken was the first legal shipment of beer to the United States after the repeal of prohibition. Currently, Heineken has 115 brewing plants in 65 countries. -
