A print campaign began on April 1, 2008. Heidi Montag debuted the line on April 11, 2008 at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Los Angeles, which will be known for the event as the Heidiwood & Highland Center.
It was rumored that Montag petitioned the Los Angeles city council to change the famous Hollywood sign to Heidiwood for one day. Her alleged request was denied.
