The Heene family, (Richard Heene, his wife Mayumi and sons Ryo, Falcon and Bradford) were featured in two episodes of ABC's Wife Swap. The storm-chasing Heene family made headlines in October 2009 when one of their sons took off in a home-made experimental balloon.
On the episode that aired on October 3, 2008, Mayumi Heene, the mother of three adventurous boys, swapped places with Karen Martel of Connecticut.
