Plot Synopsis
The movie tells the story of Hedwig, a transsexual German punk rocker who embarks on an unlikely world tour. Along the way, she recounts to a largely nonplussed audience how "a slip of a girly boy from communist East Berlin became the internationally ignored song stylist you see barely standing before you today." -
