Hedley

Hedley is a Canadian rock band from British Columbia, Canada. The Vancouver based band has earned two multi-platinum albums during the past four years. The frontman is named Jacob Hoggard who is a former Canadian Idol contestant that placed third in the competition despite entering only on a bet from the other band members. When Jacob realized there was a real possibility of him winning Canadian Idol, he asked his fans to vote him off as he wanted to return to his band, write his own music and play his own songs. The rest of the band is comprised of bass player Tom MacDonald, guitarist Dave Rosin and drummer Chris Crippin. The band took its name from a town in British Columbia. Career

Hedley has released four albums to date. Their first album was self-tilted Hedley and was released in 2005, the second was the platinum edition and was released in 2006, the third was Famous Last Words which was released in 2008 and the fourth was titled The Show Must Go and was released in 2009. The Show Must Go has some new songs that have made it to the top of some of the radio chart lists - songs such as Cha-Ching, Don’t Talk To Strangers, Scream and Hands Up.
