Heather and Lance Holmes were contestants on the first season of the ABC reality show Here Come the Newlyweds, hosted by comedian Pat Bullard and aired in the Spring of 2008. The couple admitted their love for one another after dating only three months and it was love at first sight for Lance, who told a friend of Heather's that he knew he was going to marry her the moment he saw her. After winning immunity on the second last episode, the Holmes were given the task of choosing who they would be up against in the final competition. They chose Crystal and Johnnie Moutra, which may have been the wrong choice, since the Moutras defeated the Holmes during the final episode on April 6, 2008.
