HD DVD RIP contains information about the recent death of HD-DVD. On Febuary 19, 2008 Toshiba announced the discontinuation of their HD DVD businesses. The announcement came after a recent and swift change in the market which had consumers and businesses like Walmart favoring Sony's Blu-Ray.
