Hayley Williams is the lead singer of the Tennessee based rock band Paramore. She was born on December 27, 1988. When she was 14, she and her family moved from Meridan, Mississippi to Franklin, Tennessee. Williams was already an aspiring musician, but when she met fellow band members Josh and Zac Farro, she was introduced to classic rock music. In December of 2005, Williams and the Farro brothers formed Paramore with their friends Jason Bynum and Jeremy Davis. The band performed in various local gigs and won a school talent competition until they were signed by the major rock label Fueled By Ramen.http://www.last.fm/music/Hayley+Williams/+wiki

Career
Paramore released their debut album, All We Know is Falling in 2005, and received praise from critics such as the New York Times and Spin, calling Williams "a star in the making".http://artists.letssingit.com/paramore-8phr5/biography The band followed up the album release with a year of touring with Straylight Run and Simple Plan, as well as performances at Bamboozle Left and Vans Warped Tour. Before releasing their second album, RIOT!, Paramore headlined a sold out tour of North America, as well as tours in Europe and Japan.http://artists.letssingit.com/paramore-8phr5/biography
RIOT! was released in 2007, and the lead single Misery Business eclipsed the top 20 on Billboards Hot 100. The song started with a post by Williams on the band's Livejournal page, asking their fans to post what they're ashamed of. After getting many responses, she decided to follow suit in the song. Williams said, "I found that people really were reaching out to someone to spill their guts to. So I did the same thing lyrically in the song and let everything out. It’s more honest than anything I’ve ever written, and the guys matched that emotion musically."http://artists.letssingit.com/paramore-8phr5/biography
In March 2008, personal problems within the band forced Paramore to pull out of a tour. They were able to resolve their differences in time to shoot the video for That's What You Get in their hometown. Later in 2008, the band recorded two songs for the movie Twilight, and their song Decode was chosen as the lead single for the soundtrack. In 2009, Paramore released their third album, Brand New Eyes. The album reached #1 in Ireland, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and also reached #2 in the US.http://www.last.fm/music/Hayley+Williams/+wiki
