Determining Hat Size
- To determine hat size, measure the circumference around the thickest part of the head, a little higher than the ears. Measure twice to ensure accurate results.
- For a circumference of 20 3/4 or 53 centimeters choose a hat size 6 5/8 or an XS.
- Small hats are good for a head circumference of 21 1/8 to 21 1/2 inches or 54 to 55 centimeters. For a more specific fit choose a 6 3/4 size hat for a head circumference of 21 1/8 inches or 54 centimeters. Choose a 6 7/8 for a 21 1/2 inches or 55 centimeter circumference.
- For a circumference of 21 7/8 inches or 56 centimeters choose a size 7 or a medium.
- For a 22 1/4 inches or 57 centimeter circumference, choose a size 7 1/8 or a medium.
- For a measurement of 23 inches or 59cm choose a hat size of 7 3/8 or a large.
- For a 23 1/2 inch or 60 centimeter circumference choose a size 7 1/2 or a large.
- Head circumferences measuring 23 7/8 inches or 61 cm fit a size 7 5/8 or an extra large.
- Measurements of 24 1/4 inches or 62 centimeters fit a size 7 3/4 or an extra large.
- For measurements of 24 5/8 inches or 63 centimeters a size 7 7/8 or an extra extra large work well.
