- 1968 was the last time that both teams were undefeated in league play and meeting to decide the undisputed league championship. In that game, future NFL first round draft selection Calvin Hill led Yale to a 29-13 lead with just under a minute to go. Hill, who was selected by the Dallas Cowboys, is the father of NBA All-Star Grant Hill. Despite Hill's outstanding efforts, Harvard rallied to score 16 points in the final 47 seconds, resulting in a 29-29 tie. One of the players who helped Harvard's dramatic efforts was future Academy Award winning actor Tommy Lee Jones.
