The Potter films of late have a tendency to take their own creative stand and separate themselves from the novels. Chris Colombus who has directed the first two Harry Potter films; The Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets stayed true to the books with lines being exactly the same. We moved onto Alfonso Quaron who directed Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third in the series. Quaron changed the location of the set of Hogwarts which angered many fans, though this set remains in the use today. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince directed by David Yates (also set to direct the two Deathly Hallows films and also director of Order of the Phoenix, episode 5) even added a scene which depicted the burning down of the Weasley's home; The Burrow.
